HVAC Integration
The SANOZONE system can be permanently installed in a building’s HVAC or placed inside a contaminated room. The SANOZONE will generate a biocidal ozone gas that will treat the entire room and destroy microorganisms on every surface of the room. When disinfection is complete, the SANOZONE technology converts the ozone back to oxygen, leaving a completely disinfected space.
1. Programmable Logic Controller
Once the Space slated for decontamination is unoccupied, an operator uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) touch screen to select a factory-programmed cycle. Once engaged, the SANOZONE injects high concentration ozone into the air for a specific dwell time, disinfecting all surfaces within the space. Integral ozone concentration sensors measure and control the ozone gas concentration within the space.
2. Intelligent Ozone Injection
SANOZONE intelligent software adjusts ozone injection rates to room conditions to achieve bioburden control. The SANOZONE system generates 95% oxygen from air and then converts oxygen to ozone gas. The only consumable is electricity. As ozone fills the room it envelops each object in the space regardless of shape and size, including those behind cupboard doors and inside drawers. It blankets any object touched by air, targeting viruses, bacteria, fungus and other pathogens on surfaces and penetrates into fabrics. Ozone levels are brought to a pre-determined ppm proven to deactivate pathogens for a set dwell time.
Only a standard 115 VAC outlet is needed to power Model 10 to Model 300. Model 400 and larger require 230 VAC.
3. Ozone to Oxygen Conversion
All ozone within the contained space is rapidly converted back to oxygen with the assistance of SANOZONE’s proprietary rapid catalyst system. No residue or odour is left in the room and no chemicals are used in the process.
Cycle Description
SANOZONE systems come equipped with intelligent programable WIFI enabled controls. Operators can program units to initiate disinfection at daily set times when spaces are known to be empty, or turn the system on manually with the touch screen interface. The SANOZONE can only be used in unoccupied spaces.
3 Steps of Complete Disinfection Cycle CDC
Build-up Cycle
Biocidal ozone gas is generated from the machine using only electricity
Gas is diffused into every corner of the room
Automation controls the concentration of ozone
Disinfection Cycle
High ozone gas concentration is maintained for a specific dwell time allowing gas to diffuse onto every surface in the space
Conversion Cycle
Once disinfection cycle is complete biocidal ozone gas is quickly converted back to oxygen
Once completely converted back to oxygen, the Sanozone app sends message "safe to enter"
Safety
The SANOZONE system has multiple safety features built into every point of operation to ensure safe treatment of spaces.
Training
SANOZONE systems must be operated by trained and certified technicians who have successfully completed the SANOZONE training course for operators.
Multi-platform alarm systems and computer interface technology.
SANOZONE systems are for unoccupied spaces only. To ensure rooms are unoccupied, each Sanozone system can be interfaced with building alarm systems and motion sensors to ensure the space is unoccupied. Trained operators can initiate the decontamination process remotely through a cell phone app or computer link if the system is permanently installed in the building HVAC for automated daily disinfection.
Security codes prevent unauthorized users from engaging the SANOZONE cycle.
As the SANOZONE begins operation, an audible alarm and flashing red light emit a high pitch sound and bright light to alert anyone present in the deactivation zone to vacate the area. Additionally, built-in motion sensors will trigger the automatic shutdown of the SANOZONE unit.
Once the disinfection cycle is complete, the SANOZONE system sends a daily report confirming pathogen deactivation occurred during off-peak hours and that the space is safe to re-enter.
About Ozone
Ozone gas is an FDA, EPA and Health Canada approved gas proven to deactivate pathogens including viruses, bacteria and fungus in various applications including on food supply. Regulatory bodies recognize the use of ozone as safe with strict recommendations on exposure limits.
Currently ozone is an industry standard in wastewater treatment and is used for sanitation in the medical field. Ozone is also widely used to eliminate odours at agricultural facilities.
SANOZONE Technologies has engaged a third-party consultant and conducted laboratory testing on the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the standard for virus testing to validate ozone’s effectiveness in killing Covid-19.
Current laboratory testing shows levels used in the SANOZONE deactivate 99.9% of pathogens.
